thank you so very much! i’ve been editing for… maybe a solid year and a few months now. at least with photoshop! i had some experience earlier with Corel PSP XIII, which i began when i was 12, i think. i learned by the excruciating process of experience. it’s a difficult and long way, but it’ll build your base more elegantly. i used to play around with photoshop everyday, once upon a time (lately i’ve haven’t gotten the time). when i was on livejournal, i would constantly look at tutorials on how to make icons/coloring/banners/etc., and even though i didn’t have photoshop, i tried to recreate the looks by PSP. i then moved on to layout making on xanga, which i used to make banners to go along with them. i went back to livejournal to make icons. i used to draw and paint more often, so i also used photoshop to touch them up. then i came on tumblr and i was just blown away by some graphics, so i tried to make my own. after a few months i began to get the hang of it and i just grew from then on. i know it’s not the answer you want to hear, but really, tutorials and downloading many texture packs and slapping textures on really do help.
